Precision Clinical Research is enrolling adults who are carrying a few extra pounds for a weight-related clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication.

If your doctor has told you to watch what you eat because your blood sugar, blood pressure or cholesterol is creeping up, you may be a fit.

Participants receive study-related care and monitoring throughout the study.

Who can join the study?

  • Adults 18 and older
  • BMI between 25 and 29.9 | Calculate your BMI
  • Your doctor has said your blood sugar, blood pressure or cholesterol is a little high
  • Not currently taking medication for any of those
  • Able to commit to a long-term study (about 3 years)
  • Willing to follow study instructions and attend visits

What does a BMI of 25 to 29.9 mean?

Body mass index (BMI) estimates body fat from your height and weight. A BMI between 25 and 29.9 is considered overweight, a range where blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol often begin to rise.
