Constant constipation can be difficult to manage.
The TRANSIT study is for adults (ages 18 to 75) with functional constipation. The study is designed to find out if an investigational study product is safe and provides relief from constipation.
Qualified study participants can expect the following:
- Attend about 8 study clinic visits (some may be from home) over 3 to 4 months.
- Take the study product (or placebo, which has no active ingredients) in the form of capsules twice per day with meals.
- Complete a daily diary with information about your bowel movements and symptoms.
- Receive the study product or placebo and routine study tests and monitoring by a healthcare team at no cost.
18 – 75
Do you have continuous constipation?
Functional constipation means having difficult, infrequent, or incomplete bowel movements more than 25% of the time. Infrequent means not having bowel movements regularly (less than 3 per week). Pain and stomach bloating can also occur. Consider joining the TRANSIT clinical research study if continuous constipation is causing a strain on your life.
