About the Study
The purpose of this research study to find out if the study treatment secukinumab is safe and can help people who have a disorder called rotator cuff tendinopathy (RCT). RCT occurs when a tendon in your shoulder is damaged and hurts despite taking medication for pain relief as well as physiotherapy.

Symptoms of Active Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy
If you have rotator cuff tendinopathy, you may notice pain in the outer part of your upper arm and sometimes the front and top of your shoulder. This could worsen as you raise your hands above your head or reach behind you. It could also wake you up at night.
You also might experience:
- Swelling and tenderness in the front of your shoulder
- A “clicking” in your shoulder when you raise your arms over your head
- Loss of strength or range of motion
- Joint stiffness

This research study is enrolling people who:
Are 18 to 65 years old
Nocturnal pain in shoulder on at least 3 out of 7 nights
